Kingston Energy Consulting
Kingston Energy Consulting is an independent consulting company that specialises in wholesale energy markets. Our main business is developing and implementing training courses for companies that trade in the oil, gas, power and renewble energy markets and the companies that support these activities. Based in the UK, we are international in scope.
Face-to-face training and workshops
We offer in-person, instructor-led classroom training courses on oil trading and operations, refining, energy commodities, energy trading and risk management, and European gas and power trading. Working with Mennta Energy Solutions, we run public subscription courses at conference venues, and on-site private courses at client company offices. Our signature products are multi-day workshops that provide the audience with a highly interactive, immersive experience. These workshops not only provide a sound understanding of key principles and concepts, and convey a lot of information, but also, through team trading games and group exercises, give delegates a sense of what traders have to think about, and how they might approach a market.
Virtual courses
Through Zoom or similar platforms, we offer live, instructor-led courses, on a wide range of topics. Each course has between two and five sessions, on successive days, of about three hours each. Our virtual classroom offerings include courses on biofuels, hydrogen, decarbonization, oil trading, refining, European gas and power markets, oil operations, road fuels technologies, natural gas liquids, and trading risk controls.
Energy Transition
We now offer a growing library of courses and workshops on various aspects of the rapidly changing energy economy. As well as workshops and virtual courses, these include online self-study courses on biofuels, carbon capture, hydrogen, emissions trading, nuclear power, renewable energy, sustainable fuels, and other topics.
